Lt. Col. Wes Moore, 436th Airlift Wing staff judge advocate, explains a facet of Dover Air Force Base’s mission to 436th Airlift Wing honorary commander Tina Showalter, chief prosecutor for Kent County. Mrs. Showalter was inducted into the Dover Air Force Base Honorary Commander’s program at the base Jan. 31. More than 50 community leaders were inducted as honorary commanders where they will interact with their Air Force active duty and Reserve counterparts. The program promotes understanding, appreciation and camaraderie between Dover Air Force Base members and the surrounding community. Throughout the year, honorary commanders will have the opportunity to tour the base and attend social function to interact with base Airmen and DoD employees. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roland Balik)
