The 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment hones their aerial firefighting capabilities in anticipation of fire season by participating in Bambi Bucket training near Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The Winged Warriors have provided support in mitigating large forest fires throughout Central America using this device which can carry up to 2,000 gallons of water to areas of difficult or limited access.
