Sgt. 1st Class James W. Mason, from Maryville, Ill., explains how his troops are soldiers first and laundry and shower specialists second. Mason believes weapons training and proficiency is extremely important in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mason is the acting first sergeant for the 1008th Quarter Master Company at Granite City, Illinois.
