1st SFAB Colombia Mission Announcement

1st Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) will deploy advisory team to Colombia on June 1 to support counter-narcotics cooperation, announced Lt. Col. Mike Berriman, Commander of 3rd Squadron, SFAB. The SFAB will train with, advise and assist Colombian units in areas designated by the Colombian government as “priority areas,” and focus on logistics, services and intelligence capabilities directly supporting U.S.-Colombia counter-narcotics collaboration and information sharing. This deployment supports the longstanding partnership between the U.S. and Colombia.
