U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Antonio Garcia, 389th Fighter Generation Squadron weapons load crew member, introduces himself as Gunfighter of the Week on Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, Nov. 4, 2022. Garcia joined the squadron in July and has shown superior initiative since his arrival. During the 389th FGS deployment launchout, an aircraft diverted to Sioux Falls North Dakota and Garcia was among the first to volunteer for the Maintenance Recovery Team. While on the MRT his innovative thinking allowed the team to safely reconfigure an aircraft with external fuel tanks utilizing an MHU-83 lift truck, eliminating a fuel transfer problem.
