U.S. Army Majs. Jeffrey Hager, voting assistance officer, and Eric Snyder, command judge advocate, both with the Base Operations Support Integrator, held a voting assistance day at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 9, 2020. The purpose of the event was to provide U.S. military service members with information on their voting rights and assist them with registering to vote, requesting and filling out absentee ballots, and mailing the ballots so that their vote is counted in the state they are registered to vote.
