Airfield operations members prepare the airfield during Agile Flag 22-2 at Avon Park Auxilary Airfield, July 20, 2022. These airfield operators were employed as cross-functional Multi-Capable Airmen team during the exercise and accomplished tasks outside of their core Air Force Specialty to include air traffic control, radar and weather systems and airfield operations. They are enabled by cross-utilization training and can operate independently in an expeditionary environment to accomplish mission objectives within acceptable levels of risk.
