USAF, PAF Develop Bilateral Rescue Techniques
U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific
April 24, 2015 | 1:48
U.S. Air Force pararescuemen with 31st Rescue Squadron and members from the 505th Search and Rescue Group of the Philippine Air Force conducted a mass-casualty evacuation drill at Clark Air Base, Philippines, April 24, during exercise Balikatan 2015. The bilateral training event provided both rescue teams with a better understanding of how each other operates, and ensures mission accomplishment should they work side-by-side in the future. Balikatan is an annual Philippines-U.S. military training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement, which highlights the longstanding partnership between both nations. Includes sound bites from Maj. Joseph Lopez, Director of Operations, 31st RQS and 1st Lt. Darwin Lingad, Training officer, 505th Search and Rescue Group, PAF. Also available in high definition.
