Former Detachment-A Berlin veteran Master Sgt. retired Robert “Bob” Charest shares stories about this once classified elite unit during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. SFACON is held to honor, remember and recognize Green Berets and enablers with multiple special events, panels ofspeakers and Special Forces Medal of Honor guests.
