Forward Command Post (FCP) Camp Novo Selo in Kosovo is operated by members of Kosovo Force (KFOR) and coordinates operations in Northern Kosovo. The FCP is in charge of situational patrols, vehicle checkpoints, and units stationed at Camp Nothing Hill, and Gate 1. There are 48 US Soldiers at the FCP and over 1,000 total personnel in the area. American, German, French, Moroccan, Romanian, Swiss, and Slovenian personnel operate from the camp. The camp’s infrastructure is maintained by the French. A daily briefing is given on current operations to the staff working at Camp Novo Selo. This was also the last briefing for a group of French soldiers who are rotating out. They received coins for their work while on deployment. The French Command Sergeant Major also received a cake for his birthday. The FCP also contains a fining facility that feeds the soldiers stationed there. Produced by Sgt. Nathan Rivard.
