U.S. Soldiers conduct weapons qualifications during the 2024 America’s First Corps Best Squad Competition on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, June 12, 2024. Soldiers were assessed in their ability to execute warrior tasks and battle drills, marksmanship and land navigation, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team. The competition is designed to test the proficiency of each squad and determine which unit's team will represent America’s First Corps in the upcoming 2024 U.S. Army Forces Command Best Squad Competition.
