00:00:00:00 (Estonian Minister of Defence Hannes Hanso) interview in English:
“Well, what I saw was an incredibly impressive exercise where really land components, air components, all worked together in a massive scale. What we saw from the VIP Lounge Area was just 1100 people, soldiers working together, including the air component. The whole exercise, of course, incorporating 36,000 NATO troops in three different countries, in Portugal, in Spain where we are now, and in Italy. This goes to show how strong and how viable this organization, this military organization NATO is, and these sort of things do not happen just by itself. The interoperability component is incredibly important and we saw this being worked out to perfection here today. I’m of course, so very proud of my soldiers from Estonia who contributes well. They know what the issues are and they work together with other other countries, and this is the strength of the organization. We all have our own role and we all contribute to that and this is what I saw today. Very impressive indeed.”
