English is the language of aviation, so most aircraft tech manuals are written in English. This makes learning to read English very important to Iraqi aviation. Meet Airman First Class Philip Pinillos (Pin-Ee-Yos). He’s one of many Airmen in the Iraq Training and Advisory Mission-Air, volunteering to teach English, and learning about his Iraqi students at the same time.
