B-roll of C-130's and C-17's participating in JFEX 10-05, preparing for departure on the runway. Scenes include Chalks of Army Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC, boarding the aircraft, Army Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division boarding a C-17 from the 10th Airlift Squadron, McChord AFB, WA. The C-17 crew has a pre-flight briefing with the jump masters. JFEX 10-6 prepares Army and Air Force to practice interoperability to insert Army Paratroopers and Air Force Special Operations into denied battle space. The Joint Forceable Entry Exercise (JFEX) provides a training environment and gives them a platform to hone their skills. In this clip 82nd Airborne performs Pre-Jump Drills, these drills are required 24 hours prior to any jump. Video by Staff Sgt. Burt Traynor.
