5th Special Forces Group (Airborne)

Soldiers from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) tested a Joint Precision Airdrop Device for the first time at Fort Campbell, June 8 through June 12, 2020.
The JPAD enables Soldiers to drop supplies in conjunction with a high-altitude, free-fall insertion. The systems capable of dropping in up to 10,000 lbs. of supplies from distances over 30 kilometers, accurate to within 100 meters.
