The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is partnering with the Auburn University Engineering Department to conduct extensive real-world research aimed at ensuring Airmen safety in temporary structures around the world. Safety is #1 in any operational environment. Period. But if much-needed temporary structures were only built “big and stout,” they would not be economical, portable and quickly assembled.
