Center Hill Dam and Powerhouse history is literally on the marker, at least a Tennessee state historical marker. Local community leaders and Corps officials dedicated the two-sided historical marker Oct. 27, 2015 that highlights the technical significance of Center Hill Dam and Powerhouse and the project’s authorized purposes, which include recreation, hydropower, and flood risk reduction(USACE video by Leon Roberts).
