Captain Blanchard: Patient Centered Care
59th Medical Wing
Sept. 6, 2019 | 2:40
Former U.S. Army Captain, Katie Blanchard, was a victim of a workplace violence incident in 2016 when she was set on fire as she sat in her office. Since then, her military family has rallied around the mom of three more than ever. Having over 200 surgeries to help repair the physical wounds from her attack, the members of the military medicine community help her to heal with peace of mind.
