Theresa V. Mullan, mother of U.S. Army Capt. Michael D. Mullan, visited Mullan Hall at Fort Eustis, Va., May 2, 2013. Mullan Hall is the headquarters building of Joint Task Force Civil Support. Mrs. Mullan visited JTF-CS staff nearly one year after the building was dedicated in memoriam of her son, Capt. Mullan – a decorated U.S. Army nurse, E.R. nurse and New York City firefighter who died while rescuing civilians and firefighters trapped inside the Marriott Hotel across from the World Trade Center after the terrorist attack there Sept. 11, 2001.
