Members from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, went out on a boat in Oswego Harbor to see how repairs are going on the breakwaters, including around the harbor's historic lighthouse, Oswego, New York, Oct. 19, 2023. The breakwaters reduce the amount of lake sediment that collects in the harbor and are essential to providing safe navigation in Oswego Harbor, which have suffered extensive damage due to severe storms.
