Working in conjunction with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Association, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is installing pumps at Guajataca Dam, that will allow repairs to the spillway damaged by hurricane Maria to continue, while also providing water to the treatment plants downstream which will serve as a source of clean, safe drinking water for tens of thousands of residents.
