Anakonda 2016 is the periodic (biannual since 2006) exercise of the Polish Armed Forces with the international participation of Allies and partners. It takes place between 7-17 June 2016 in military training areas across the whole country and international air and sea space of the Baltic Sea. It involves approximately 31,000 troops (including 12,000 from Poland), 3,000 vehicles, 120 aircrafts and 12 ships from 19 Allied countries. This year’s exercise is testing the ability, readiness and interoperability of the Polish Armed Forces with Allies and partners while conducting the joint defensive operation on a large scale.
