181005-N-LN093-1002 SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 5, 2018) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), transits under the Golden Gate Bridge in the annual parade of ships event during San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW) 2018. SFFW is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America's sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
