On the 12th of September 2013, the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Special Forces Underwater Operations School in Key West, Florida christened it’s newest water drop zone.

Description: On the 12th of September 2013, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), Special Forces Underwater Operations School (SFUWO) named and activated a new water drop zone in honor of a fallen combat diver who died of injuries sustained in a Improvised Explosive Device attack last year in Afghanistan. The drop zone is located South of Boca Chica key, Florida.
