Master Gunnery Sgt. Stephen Roberts, the I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) career planner, briefs I MEF Marines on the new short-term retention plan. Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) has developed the short-term retention plan that allows first-term Marines the opportunity to extend their service in order to allow them to more easily transition out of the Marine Corps while also fulfilling the manpower needs of the Marine Corps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
