Military Working Dog Sirius, who served with 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion, retired during a
ceremony at Ashley Kennels at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 26, 2016. Sirius was adopted by the family of his former handler, Sgt. Joshua Ashley, who was killed while he and Sirius were on patrol in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012.
