The 2011 Tohoku Earthquake affected millions of people when it occurred, displacing thousands when the ensuing tsunami struck. Petty Officer Dean Cates meets with two schools who formed a close relationship after the disaster. More than 120,000 buildings were destroyed, 278,000 were half-destroyed and 726,000 were partially destroyed during the event.
