1st Combat Aviation Brigade (1 CAB), 1st Infantry Division, assumes authority from 101st Combat Aviation Brigade (101 CAB), 101st Airborne Division, transfer of authority ceremony April 1, 2021, at Storck Barracks. As the seventh iteration of Atlantic Resolve, the ceremony marked the end of a nine-month rotation for 101st CAB Soldiers out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade from Fort Riley, Kansas. Aviation brigades deploy for nine months as a regionally allocated force supporting Atlantic Resolve focusing on strengthening bonds between allies and partners, increasing interoperability and building readiness.
