Most of California’s rivers have levees and they are critical to help reduce flood risk for millions of people and industry. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers routinely inspects levees within their jurisdiction to ensure they are maintained and operated properly by non-federal sponsors. Ride along with the Sacramento District’s Levees and Channels Branch Chief Ryan Larson as he identifies potential levee issues and recommends solutions.
