Families and friends of Marines and Sailors with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 166, reunite during a homecoming at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Feb. 27, 2019. During the deployment, more than 5,000 Marines and Sailors of the Essex Amphibious Readiness Group, and the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducted maritime security operations and multiple military-to-military exchanges with partner nations in support of regional security, stability, and free flow of maritime commerce.
