U.S. Marines with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, complete the Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) Master Course on Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 9-16, 2019. Instructors with I MEF Expeditionary Operations Training Group educated Marines in tower operations, fast-roping from multiple aircraft platforms and Special Patrol Insert/Extract rigging which are vital skills that can be used in support of expeditionary operations.
