On June 20, 2014, President Barack Obama issued a presidential memorandum to promote the health of honey bees and other pollinators. The memorandum states that the Department of Defense shall support habitat restoration projects for pollinators. Watch to see how Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is supporting the President's memorandum. Produced by Matthew Clouse. Includes soundbites from Dwight Wells, director, Ohio State Beekeepers Association, Karen Levin, executive director of the Levin Family Foundation, and Darryn Warner, 88th ABW Natural Resources program manager.
