220524-N-EY390-1001 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (May 24, 2022) - Sailors onboard Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, perform a drill involving an armed barricaded suspect. The drill or training exercise's purpose was to assess NSF Diego Garcia's Installation Training Team's (ITT) ability to exercise and evaluate the ITT in a rapid assessment and response to an emergency involving antiterrorism events. The ITT includes the NSF Diego Garcia's Emergency Management; Commander, Naval Forces, Japan/Navy Region Japan (CNFJ/CNRJ) Fire and Emergency Services; Security Department; and the Safety Departments.
