U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 showcase the versatility of the combat engineer military occupational field during Field Exercise (FEX) 1-24 at several locations in eastern North Carolina, Oct. 19-28, 2023. Combat engineers with MWSS-271 trained in clearing, breaching, and airfield-recovery operations using distributed aviation operations and distributed command-and-control tactics during FEX 1-24.
