This edition features stories on Air Education and Training Command officials announcing the release of the new Air Force pamphlet 36-2241, Professional Development Guide (PDG), Airmen from Barksdale Air Force Base’s 2nd Logistics and Readiness Squadron beginning mass issuing updated M-50 gas masks on April 18, more than 2,000 volunteers being needed for hosting the 15th annual Air Force marathon on Sept. 17 in Dayton, Ohio, members of the 65th Medical Group at Lajes Field performing disaster team training on the second Wednesday of each month, and students at Spangdahlem Elementary school in Germany folding and donating 1,000 paper cranes for victims of the recent earthquakes and tsunami in Japan.
