A1C Mari Good-Air Space Physiology Technician
9th Reconnaissance Wing
Aug. 9, 2023 | 1:26
Airman First Class Mari Good is an Air Space Physiology Technician with the 9th Physiological Support Squadron. She teaches pilots about the hazards of flight, prepares them for and runs altitude chamber tests, and prepares pilots to fly, as well as ensuring their pressurized space suits are functional, ready to be used, and properly attired. This career field is especially crucial as the 9th Reconnaissance Wing is home to the the 1st and 9th Reconnaissance Squadrons' U-2 pilots. These pilots take high-altitude flights in the U-2 Dragon Lady, and require specialized training and space suits to fly. Without Airmen like A1C Good and the 9 PSPTS, these pilots and the U-2's would not be able to conduct their reconnaissance missions which gather information for the nation's top decision makers to be well informed when making decisions with large reaching impact. In this way, A1C Good impacts the information environment and has a unique role in maturing information warfare.
