436th AW Public Affairs

The Public Affairs office has three major areas of responsibility: command information, media relations and community relations. Through these three areas, they ensure that both the Dover Air Force Base community and the general public are kept well informed, and that strong relations are maintained between the 436th Airlift Wing and the local community. From producing a base newspaper to maintaining the public Web site, as well as providing information to local, national and international media outlets, the public affairs staff reviews and approves information that can be released to openly and accurately communicate with the base's various publics.

Command Information

Leaders rely on public affairs professionals to assist them with delivering their communication efforts to service members and their families, to include retirees, civilians and contract employees. CI provides effective and efficient communication tools and products to link members with their leaders. CI helps service members and their families understand their purpose, role, and value to the Dover Air Force Base community.
