Flying monument reminds Team Dover to never forget
Dover Air Force Base opens its gates for the first time in eight years for the 2017 Thunder Over Dover Open House Aug. 27, 2017, on Dover AFB, Del. Although the base had an open house in 2009, the last open house that was featured on the ramp was in 1994. This year’s open house commemorates the 75th Anniversary of Dover AFB, the U.S. Air Force’s 70th Anniversary, and the City of Dover’s 300th Anniversary. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. A guest of Team Dover takes photos of names on Mohawk Airshow’s Army OV-1 Mohawk Vietnam POW/MIA flying monument.
