Still flying the C-5 Staff Sgt. Pete Franko performs key in-flight duties of the C-5M Supergalaxy. His thorough knowledge instructing newly assigned flight engineer students has increase the new training program reducing the timeline for students by 50 percent. With the new developed C-5M training program underway Franko has taught 250 hours of academic and aircraft training sessions. As a dedicated warrior Franko has amassed this year 282 flight hours with 42 combat sorties delivering 2 million pounds of dedicated cargo. Additional duties as a Defense Travel System approver Franko build and approved over 4000 DTS authorizations and vouchers that ensured a proper payout that ensured zero delinquencies in the program.
