Airman 1st Class Terry Doane has continued to be a consummate professional as well as a valuable asset to the Air Force. He performs well in high stress situations and has excelled in many different areas while being stationed here at Dover Air Force Base, Del. He has displayed high performance capabilities at all facets of his job within the dining facility/flight kitchen operations. This includes additional duties such as DFAC safety representative, DFAC accountant and records custodian technician. Doane has gone above and beyond to support his community by spearheading Dover AFB's first-ever literature club and he is an active representative of Dover Airman Against Drunk Driving. He has also over exceeded expectations while serving as a cascading style sheets guru during manning shortages within the 436th Force Support Squadron command section. In addition to performing in a position not normally held by a 3M0X1, Doane completed a Personnel Records Display Application course to enhance his administrative skill set. Doane continues to sharpen his sword by attending base sponsored courses such as the effective writing course, investment seminars, and Red Cross training. Doane strives for excellence and I am confident that he will continue to exceed the standards in which the Air Force has set before him.
