Dover AFB personnel still directed to follow Reduced Operations Policy Published Oct. 30, 2012 Dover Air Force Base, Del. -- The following message updates the current operations status of Dover AFB for Tuesday, Oct. 30. Message from the 436 AW/CC: In light of the severe weather conditions and flooding, I am continuing the Reduced Operation Policy that began 1800, Sunday, Oct. 28 through 0600, Wednesday, Oct. 31. We expect to resume operations beginning with Wednesday morning day shift. As a reminder, an individual's MEL designator can change at any time based on mission requirements. Administrative leave contin...ues to be authorized for MEL categories 2-3 and personnel that Commanders have not specifically tasked until 0600, Wednesday, 31 Oct. Commanders can adjust MELs for personnel depending on the situation. Beginning with day shift on Wednesday, 31 Oct, MEL 2 & 3 personnel will report for duty at normal scheduled times. Contact your supervisor if you are unsure when to report for duty.
