Who inspires you? My supervisor; she is hands-down the best supervisor anyone can ever have.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Doctor in the military, hopefully stationed overseas.

Staff Sgt. Melanie Griffin is a diagnostic imaging journeyman for the 436th Medical Group who provides dedicated support to the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations Center. She has completed over 175 postmortem exams, providing medical examiners with assessments of our fallen heroes. Griffin provided more than 1,700 radiology exams for the Dover community to ensure spot-on medical attention and quality care. She recently earned the coveted 436th MDG Customer Service Award for her attentive and compassionate attitude towards patients. An ambassador of selfless service, she is an elected executive member of Dover Airmen Against Drunk Driving program, which has facilitated more than 279 rides and 3,360 hours. An excellent scholar, Griffin has completed 58 credit hours toward her bachelor's degree in behavioral science and was awarded the Delta Epsilon Rho Award from Wilmington University for academic excellence. She recently completed Airman Leadership School where she earned the John L. Levitow Award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and superior scholastic qualities. Griffin's consistent dedication and excellence has yielded outstanding results for her unit, Dover AFB and the Air Force; she has proved deserving of this recognition.
