Germany, because I used to work and live over there prior to joining the military, and I speak the language. Family: My wife, Leilani, and dog, Manny. Favorite movie: Too many to list; probably "The Godfather" series, and I just saw "Act of Valor." Favorite food: I like trying all different types of food, but authentic Mexican food would probably be it. Favorite book: "Lions of Kandahar," by Maj. Rusty Bradley Who inspires you? My wife, because she has been incredibly supportive of me throughout my time in the military, all while successfully completing medical school. Have you ever been deployed? What is your best story: Yes, to Al Asad, Iraq, from June - Dec. 2011. I enjoyed making new friends and doing work with several other branches of the military. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Raising a couple of children, hopefully with another degree under my belt, enjoying time with family and friends, possible working in a medical field. Senior Airman Gary C. Holle has proven to be one of the 436 Aerial Port Squadron's most talented performers. His attention to detail and technical abilities allowed him to lead as a Load Team Chief during the upload of 53,000 cargo tons on over 2,000 missions annually. His relentless efforts drove the redistribution of $2.3M in Headquarters Air Mobility Command transportation assets which allowed continued mobility airlift sustainment command-wide. His strive for excellence allowed for the seamless movement of numerous battle-damaged Chinook helicopters from the area of responsibility for repairs. His endless efforts facilitate the 436th APS's efforts to provide first-class support to the 436th Airlift Wing's demanding mission.
