Name/rank: Senior Airman Yanet Rouillard

Squadron
: 436th Airlift Wing Protocol Office

Job description: Protocol specialist

Dream assignment and why: I would like to go anywhere overseas to experience different cultures.

Family: My husband, whom I am head over heels for, Ryan Rouillard; a Yorki Poo named Roxy; a Shih Tzu named Taffy; and my mom, dad, brother and two sisters who live in New Mexico.

Favorite movie: "Armageddon" because I love Bruce Willis.

Favorite food: Before I would have said pizza, but now I am into turkey-club sandwiches.

Favorite book: "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck.

Who inspires you? My parents, because they are hard-working, humble and always lend a hand to whoever needs help -- even if it means taking the clothes off their back.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself with at least one child -- a baby girl. I am still in the military but as an officer. I have finished up my nursing degree and am living in a beautiful house, which I recently bought. I am also stationed overseas -- maybe somewhere in Germany.

Senior Airman Yanet Rouillard is responsible for providing ceremonial support to the 436th AW commander and hosting flag officers for the Dignified Transfers of our nation's fallen heroes. She is the face of Dover Air Force Base, Del., coordinating travel and hosting general officers on an almost daily basis for DTs. We've received kudos from multiple generals on her attention to detail, stellar performance and positive attitude. Rouillard is one of the most professional, mature and trustworthy Airman I've had the pleasure to work with, and I'm proud she's received this recognition.
