Airman of the Week: Senior Airman Tracey Wootton Published Oct. 4, 2011 By 436th Airlift Wing DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Name/rank: Senior Airman Tracey Wootton Squadron: 436th Comptroller Squadron Job description: Budget analyst Favorite movie: "Beauty and the Beast" Favorite food: Pizza Favorite book: Too many to pick just one, but I'm currently reading the "Wheel of Time" series by Robert Jordan. Dream assignment, why? Ramstein Air Base, Germany, because I've always wanted to go to Germany and explore Europe. Who inspires you? My dad: he is the strongest and smartest person I know, and he will always be there for me whenever I need him. Have you been deployed? What was your best experience/story, why? Yes, to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. My best experience was when some of my co-workers and I went to the kennels and security forces told us about all the training and qualifications the military working dogs go through. They also told us about their lives in the Air Force and what happens after. Then, they did some demonstrations and then let us do some light training with the dogs. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I'm not sure yet. My degree will be complete and if I'm still in the AF, I hope to be at least a technical sergeant by then. Wootton manages the budget programs for the 436th Operations Group, totaling more than $5.7 million. She has worked in the 436th CPTS for more than three years. Through her hard work and dedication, she was recognized as the squadron's Airman of the Year in 2009. Upon returning from her deployment in February 2011, she was selected to participate in the competitive 2011 Air Mobility Command Rodeo. Her knowledge and experience was vital to the team's training. Wootton exemplifies the Air Force core values, and her dedication to the mission makes her a tremendous asset to Team Dover. - Tech. Sgt. Anthony Saunders Supervisor
