Family: My wife, Harley, parents, Ronald and Robin, and my brother, Russell.

Favorite movie: "All Dogs Go To Heaven"

Favorite food: Steak quesadilla

Favorite book: "Frankenstein"

Who inspires you: My father and grandfather. Also, those who have served and those that support what the armed forces do. They are my motivation.

What is your best experience on deployment? Traveling through forward bases and seeing how my work helps out the soldiers on the front lines.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? My wife and some kids in a big house with a big tall red door. At the end of my six-year enlistment I will be able to see clearer where I will be.

Airman Barrick has been an undeniable asset to the 736 AMXS over the last two years. He has already deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, in his career. During his deployments and back at home station, Airman Barrick's superiors and peers confirm his exceptional qualities as C-17 crew chief. With the influx of new personnel arriving to the squadron recently, Airman Barrick has played a critical role as a trainer and mentor. As a new senior airman, he has displayed training abilities and leadership qualities beyond the scope of his responsibilities.
