Senior Airman Colton Hawkins provides key help in maintaining 13 C-17 Globemaster IIIs. In addition to being a C-17 crew chief, he was chosen from his peers to come to the support section to help maintain equipment and tools used on the C-17. He has tirelessly helped maintain support equipment for the C-17 valued at more than $18 million. Hawkins has performed over 1,000 inspections on various tool kits and equipment items, ensuring tool accountability, availability and serviceability. A tribute to his selflessness, he was elected vice president of squadron booster club last year and has recently taken over as the club's president. Hawkins' dedication to his job and his attention to detail has yielded astonishing results for his unit, Dover Air Force Base and the Air Force; he has proven most deserving of this recognition.
