Over the last year at Dover Air Force Base, Del., he has shown leaderships skills beyond his age and rank, leading a group of Airman to help construct Liberty Park for Team Dover. Airman Irwin has also contributed to the local community. He has shown his Air Force pride by participating in several change-of-command ceremonies.
