Dr. Emily Gallowally, veterinarian at the Dover Air Force Base, Del. vet clinic, draws blood from Homer May 1, 2013, while his owner, Michelle Brinkerhoff holds him still. The blood was used to check for heart worms, and other health tests required for dogs according to base vaccination regulations, during his clinic appointment.. The clinic's main priority is the treatment of military working dogs.
