Aircraft tie-down safety inspections

Technical Sgt. Jason Massey (left) and TSgt. Jenon McPhatter, C-17A loadmasters from the 3rd Airlift Squadron, 436th Airlift Wing, walk off the flightline with defective MB-2 25k cargo tie-down devices they have removed from the aircraft in the background. Massey and McPhatter, along with other loadmasters conducted a mass inspection of the devices on aircraft at Dover Air Force Base, Del. on Sept. 10, 2013 to identify and remove devices with problems that could cause them to fail while under tension.
